Season Pass FAQ

Online Pass Buying FAQ's

Q. How do I use a gift card to buy my pass?
A.
Gift cards cannot be used online.  In order to use a Mt. Bachelor Gift Card to buy your pass you can call us at 541-382-2442, or you can visit us at the Season Pass Office at 115 SW Columbia Street.  Hours are below.

Q. Why can't I have my pass mailed to me?
A. We do not mail passes due to time constraints and high volume of pass processing close to opening.  There were just too many returned envelopes and lost passes.

Q. I am buying a pass for a friend, grand child, etc, how do I do this?
A.
You'll be able purchase these online.  If it's for a new pass, the guardian (over 18) must build their profile first. The information for the pass holder(s) is entered later in the process. New pass purchases will require a signed paper release form and photo ID upon pass pickup.

Q. I have a voucher, how do I use this to get my pass?
A. Vouchers can't be used online, simply call in to have it applied to your purchase.

Q. My birthday is in [August, September, October, November, December], what pass do I purchase?
A. Your age on the *day you buy* your pass is how your age is determined for your pass. Thus plan your purchase accordingly!

Q. Where is the Family Pass?
A. We offer discounts to families of 4 or more. To recieve the discount, please call or visit the season pass office. You would buy an adult pass, a spouse pass and one full price teen or youth pass.  Then, you'll save $100 on each teen or youth pass thereafter.  You can mix and match holiday and non holiday passes.  This only qualifies for teen and youth passes, ages 6-18.

Q. I am having problems buying online, how do I get help?
A. If you need assistance with your online purchase, you can email us at tickets@mtbachelor.com, or contact us over the phone at 541-382-2442 Mon - Fri 8 am - 5 pm

Q. Are you still offering the Combo Pass?
A. Combo Passes are not available this year. You will receive a 10% discount on the Nordic Pass when purchasing a Nordic and Alpine pass! (The Alpine pass must be either a Full or Non-Holiday type.)  You CANNOT receive the discount on-line, however! You can purchase your Alpine Pass on-line and then purchase your Nordic in person to receive the discount. You are also welcome to purchase both in person. The Season Pass Office opens Sept. 17.

Q. Are there any discounts for families?
A. This discount is not available on-line! Please call one of our helpful representatives at (541) 382-2442 or (800) 829-2442 or visit our Season Pass Office. Please remember this discount is only good for families of four or more only, with two married adults and a minimum of two children between the ages of 6 and 18 years living in the home. Sorry, young adults ages 19-23, do not qualify.

Q. Can I wear my crazy cool wig/hat/fake teeth/sunglasses in my pass picture?
A. You will be kindly asked to remove your hat, sun glasses, and any witty costumes prior to your pass photo. Your cooperation is appreciated!

Q. When is the last day that I can get my picture taken in town?
A. November 20th!!! On Nov. 21st the Season Pass Office moves to the moutain and will NOT be open for business that day. We will reopen Nov. 22nd.

Q.  Do I have to get my picture and pass before September 30 to get the good deal?
A.  No, you just need to purchase before midnight September 30th. We strongly recommend getting your picture taken before coming to the mountain. The lines will be shorter if you come in October.  The longer you wait, the longer the lines with estimates of 2-3 hours opening day.

Q. Can I get my picture taken at the mountain?
A. Pictures can be taken at the guest service building, but we highly advise getting your pass photo prior to your fist day of skiing. Lines at the pass office are normally rather long the first few weeks of the season. If you must wait until you arrive at the mountain, try to get to the pass office early, or visit on a weekday.

Q. Where else can I have my picture taken?
A.
Cascade Lakes Lodge is happy to be hosting 2 picture parties for all passholders to come and get pictures taken while enjoying the atmosphere at the Lodge.  A season pass will be given away each night.  Come join us November 1 and 8 from 6-9 pm.   You must be present to win the pass and the drawing will be toward the end of the party.
